Every day at Mimi’s is exciting and full of fun! Your child's day is structured, but they'll enjoy lots of different activities in addition to free play and time in the garden. These activities are chosen to be just right for their age and stage of development. We want your child to be curious, explore new things, and enjoy learning. That's why we offer a mix of activities that help them grow in all areas—thinking, feeling, moving, and creating.

An example of the 'Oral Hygiene' activity is where the children have their own toothbrush, and they participate in fun and engaging learning activities such as playing dentists, using a mirror whilst brushing their teeth and identifying foods that can harm their teeth.
A child’s day in nursery may look something like this:
Mimi’s Nursery promotes healthy eating and well-being, and as part of the nursery fee, provide the children with healthy snacks, a variety of fruit and vegetables, milk, and water throughout the day.
We encourage the children to prepare the fruit and vegetables themselves and teach them how our food grows with their very own fruit and vegetable patch in the garden.
The other key part of your child’s time at nursery is their portfolio, which is covered under the sundries charge.
This binder is a record of their learning journey, where we document key observations about your child’s development. We use it to share photos, pieces of work created by your child, document special events and times throughout the year under key areas of the curriculum.
Mimi’s Nursery includes trips as part of you’re the nursery experience, and we pay for these out of the sundries charge. We go to local parks, farmers markets, soft play, local zoos, nature reserves and libraries.
